Principal's Message

‘Syon College of Education is Affiliated to Panjab University Chandigarh’. Our College endeavors to inspire and empower our students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers and productive members of an ever-changing global society. In the past few years we have added many new courses and  expanded exponentially in infrastructure development, providing for our students higher level teaching- learning experience, more extra-curriculum activities, outreach programs and opportunities for placement. The mainspring of Syon college of Education is the students whose holistic development and character building is the primary objective of the institution. This is achieved by focusing on the needs of the individual student and providing the best socio-ecological environment according to his/her specific need. In Syon College of Education , students are encouraged to channelize their potential in the pursuit of excellence in a holistic, student-centered environment. Now in its seventh year, Syon College of Education continues to move forward in the true spirit of ability driven education while sensitizing its students to the needs of the community besides inculcating values like integrity, fortitude and acceptance of individual difference, the likehood of achieving this is strengthened by the fact that we offer an academic program that facilitates an overall development of the human personality in all its dimensions-intellectual, physical, social, moral and spiritual. In the coming years the College will extensively focus on the National Education Policy mandated blended learning programmes, skill based education, capacity building of its teachers and students and the non-teaching staff and focus on further strengthening the Information Technology environment of the institution. The spirit of our college resonates with all its staff and students. I hope all of you will spend enriching and the most memorable years of your life in our college and make bonds lasting a lifetime.
